Recently my daughter, Danielle, lost her horse to a liver disease and she was heart broken. She has such a love for animals and especially horses.
This is an important time in her life to teach her some of life's valuable lessons and one of the most important truths of the Universe.

Danielle was feeling low and that the world was letting her down. She was losing sight of her dream of showing horses and competeing as a Hunter/ Jumper with horses.

It is real easy to lose sight of something that we are passionate about if we allow all the outside circumstances to influence us and mold our thoughts and emotions. Danielle was convincing herself that her dream was not possible and she was getting all the evidence she needed to back that up and make it a reality for her.

She would start training with trainer after trainer and things would happen such as we would move, or the trainer stopped training and would be more interested in training the horses. Her horse died. Then all the trainers in our area that we live in now do not have school horses and she now didn't have a horse of her own. She did not see a way to get a new horse. She had developed so much proof that her dream was out of her reach.

We were traveling down to South Florida for a week long getaway with family and friends, when I began talking to her about why she was so down and what was on her mind. She bagan telling me it seemed like it was no use. She would never be able to jump and get good at it.

I said,"Wait! Hold on. You can change that reality at anytime. You are so stuck in the past and confirming the poor Danielle. If you want something you have to; ask God for it, pray and affirm what you are asking for, have Faith that your requests are being answered and then something that is very important is to live as if you have already recieved it."

Danielle was just like many of us, confirming what she didn't have and what she had lost instead of keeping her vision in focus and using her passion to help bring it to her. She was thinking that her horse had to come from her father or mother working hard and she just didnt see how she would get one.

Once she changed her focus off what was in the past, she was able to clear her thoughts and the way she was feeling about life. She became re-energized and was full of enthusiam. She was looking at life again with wonder and excitement. Now she is thinking and looking for possibilities.

She is only twelve but already her natural inner connection with God had begun to get humanized and deadened. She was losing her ability to dream, to look at life with wonder, and to imagine different ways of creating something.

I suggested that it is important to get in touch wth the simplier side of herself. The one inside who remains child-like. The Dreamer.

It was a quick and amazing transformation. Her world opened up and all the things she was wanting were not being repelled away. She could now recieve the good that God was always trying to send her.

Her life now was all about horses again. She was invited to go to Wellington to a Grand Prix Classic the next day after we arrived in West Palm Beach. She taken to get a new saddle by her dad. Miracle after Miracle started happening and she was blessed in many more ways than she could have thought of on her own. She now had the Universe on her side and she was in the flow. She was now playing vs. complaining.

As we returned to North Florida, she now has a new trainer. She pinches herself everyday when she now looks outside our window, because she has a new best friend named, Khiro. He is a Dutch Warm Blood and an incredibly loving horse.

Danielle now knows that her DREAMS are possible.

All she has to do is Play the Game of Life and Play to WIN!
