Awareness - 1st Step

How can you know where you what to go, if you do not know where you are even starting from?

1st Key - Awareness

I have found that most people are not even awake to know what their current life looks like.

You might find yourself going through the motions of life everyday and wanting to do something different but until you step outside of yourself and become the observer of your life, you might continue on the same path for eternity.

Observing your life is an Art. A skill that will open worlds for you. When you begin to see yourself anew.

I recommend you be gentle with yourself.

It took a long time to get to where you are, be patient and compassionate with what you SEE.

You will want to look at yourself with Child-like eyes. New EYES.

Steps to assist you in your observing.

1. Stand in front of a mirror - Clothes on or clothes off, it is your choice.

First look at your posture.

Ask yourself some of these questions:

Am I standing up straight?

Are my shoulders slumping or drooping?

Are my shoulders up around my ears?

Is one shoulder higher than the other?

Is one leg or one hip higher than the other?

Does my face appear drawn up and tight?

Do I have bags or dark circles under my eyes?

Do my eyes look bright or tired?

2.Now turn your body so it faces the mirror sideways.

Am I standing errect?

Am I slumping?

What feels tight?

What hurts as I straighten up?

Now that you have become aware of your body and the visible clues it is trying to give you, so that you can begin to do something about it.

You have just gone from being unconscious and unaware, to now standing on one side of a bridge, knowing where you are so you can begin to make your journey across the bridge to your new you. Yahoo!

Congradulations!

"What NOW?", you say.

3. See what you see. You are not to judge and beat up on yourself. You are to become aware. If there are things you are now aware of and want to see something different, just notice.

4. See yourself new and child-like. See yourself as if for the first time. What would you like to see this person standing in front of you look like. What would you have this person do?

STAND UP TALL
PUSH THEIR CHEST OUT
STOP SLUMPING
SMILE
OPEN THEIR EYES BRIGHTER
ROLL THEIR SHOULDERS BACK.

Ask gently and with kindness if these changes could be made now.

5. Take antoher look in the mirror. Who do you see now? What simple changes did you make?

6. Notice the difference in your thoughts and how your feel about yourself.
Are you beginning to feel more? Do you sense more energy running thoughtout your body?

7. Notice how you are beginning to shift in your awareness to the things around you.

You will start to see new things because you have made an internal shift which will now cause you to draw new things to you externally. You might begin to see birds for the first time in years or perhaps babies. You will begin to enjoy the smiles that you start attracting from other people as you wear one now.

In just a very short time you can change your whole like by making a few small changes, and there is none more important than becoming AWARE of yourself.

You are magnificant. Make sure you reflect that magnificance and share it with everyone you meet.

Keep checking in with yourself though out your day. Find where you are. Take a look.

SEE YOUR SELF WITH CHILD-LIKE EYES.

And remember to PLAY!

Marianne
